Fusão do Sons

The project is called “Fusão do Sons”, a Portuguese expression meaning “Mix of Sounds”, a name that describes our ensemble, which brings together classical guitar and vibraphone – an uncommon combination that offers a rich blend of harmonics and a wide dynamic range.

The main goal of this project is to bring a unique sound to the stage with a fresh, creative performance style – one that channels high energy and explores the full expressive potential of our instruments.

To achieve this, we began by transcribing a repertoire that naturally suits our duo’s character. At the same time, we are collaborating with composers who are creating original works for us.

All these efforts aim to channel our energy, sound, and experience toward the audience. We believe there are new ways to experience classical music – ways that can truly bring people closer to this wonderful art form.
